Captain Matt constantly monitors the weather to ensure the best Lake Michigan fishing conditions along with a safe trip. One day before your trip, you will receive a call from Captain Matt to discuss any potential weather considerations; if the weather forecast is considered unsafe, you will be offered to rebook your trip. Unsafe conditions are determined by the captain's discretion.

We recommend that kids should be at least 8 to 10 years old before bringing them on a charter based on their attention span and interest in fishing.

Please note that although the boat does have a downstairs cabin, we do not recommend kids or adults spend their time below deck - they miss out on the adventure and can also become seasick more easily (believe us, we know from experience!).

We have life jackets for youth through adult in a variety of sizes available. Kids ages 13 and under are required by law to wear their life jackets at all times.

Yes, each trip has a required deposit of $150 to hold your spot. When you book your trip online, it will automatically ask you to put down the $150.

Yes, we take cash or credit cards through our online payment system. You'll even get a receipt!

If you need to cancel your trip, please call us to further discuss. We understand that life happens and want to make sure you're still able to enjoy your Lake Michigan Charter Fishing trip another day.  Deposits will be refunded if canceling five (5) days before your scheduled trip.

While tips are not expected, they are greatly appreciated. If you enjoy your trip, please let your captain know by providing a tip (typically ranging from 15% to 20%). We also appreciate you leaving a review on Facebook, Google Business or Fish Booker.

Lake Michigan hosts several species of fish: King (Chinook) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Steelhead Trout, Lake Trout and Brown Trout. Although each type can be caught throughout the year, certain types of fish are easier to catch during specific months, like Coho Salmon from May through early July.

Yes, the Relentless Pursuit does have a bathroom (called a "head") on-board.
